I'm a software engineer residing in Sydney, Australia. I have a heavy interest in Ruby and Ruby on Rails, although my career has mostly involved Java (that's where the work is... unfortunately.)

Outside of software I'm interested in anonymity (particularly anonymous bulletin boards), as well as social networking. I'll leave it up to someone else to point out the irony in that. I also play a lot of Nintendo DS, and watch a lot of anime (though that may be an understatement.)

Legacy IM

I stopped using legacy IM services some time ago, back when I realised most of my contacts had Jabber already. These days most people already have a Jabber account, thanks to large providers giving them out for free, so there is no excuse for not having an account. :-)
